I have not voted here because I dont understand the question.
Isn't the stickies in the Maintenance and Repair section, with all the info there by members, videos from SS on rebuilding SS and the various SPTs cover what you are asking?

I think that Dusty has the right idea: title of post is specific to content.

500 Maintenance, 520 Maintenance, Jointing, Ripping, etc. used on the title would make the Search function work as the repository.

Having said that, I believe that us users don't want/have the discipline.

Heath's 'wiki' idea is good, but who can do it and maintain it?

I voted "A waste of time" for the reasons given above in other posts. Actually it would also be a waste of space.

I believe all of any needed issue can presently be solved by using the search function or simply asking questions.

I’ve noted and somewhat empathized with Dusty’s expressed concern many times. However, I agree that it simply isn’t practical to expect that level of control to ever develop in a message board forum. Even if a member wanted to discuss having problems with, say, 520 table alignment, it’s as likely as not that they’d title it “Why is This Happening to Me?

People tend to write more or less the same way they speak.

id est — It ain’t gonna happen.

I have moderated automotive sites far larger that this by using the number of members as the size criteria, however, most of the members were kid wanna be's that made it difficult. One of my many duties was that I ran a section, as a super moderator, of that forum that was specifically tech, and it worked very well. It dealt with many many different disciplines and equipment/expertise.

However, although I voted for the inclusion of this type of sub forum, I also agree with charlese as to just asking questions here. Since this forum is so self policed, in that squabbles are handled in house by the posters (that I have seen so far), simply asking how will get you more timely and pertinent info than trying to search for the same issue.
