I see Community forum as a catch all re topics, but a thread's topic is still relevant and potentially hi-jackable(assumming the prevalent opinion that that 'exists', rather than being a normal progression(changing)).

You failed to include the final ). If you have a parenthetical statement within a parenthetical statement the final one must be closed with two - two, not one parentheses. You may think that you are a "head guy", but you obviously have been suppressing your inner computer programmer. He's just itching to bust out!

Well, just as every occasion requires at least a new dress, and/or new shoes, and/or matching handbag, and don't forget earrings or other jewelry items...Every job/project requires at least one new tool, accessory and possibly square drive screws or other fasteners.

Since we both like the workshop here we have to have policies and negotiate. Luckily I'm not big on shoes or handbags

OMG! How did you ever discover that? In 1969, just before I started on a Ph.D. in Psych I discussed my plans with a long term friend who had just quit the CIA. I told him I was going for the Psych doctorate with a minor in computer programming. (We still used the IBM with Hollerith cards -aka IBM then). I didn't have an answer. It just seemed to balance out something, which I never discovered because I didn't do the programming stuff.

Although, as a reminder to those who are programmers: In 1980 Collins Radio ran it's entire payroll on an 8K processor. How's that for programming? High, tight and out of sight!

I understand the first paragraph. New Dress, Handbags, shoes, jewelery, earrings, Yada, yada, yada. What's with the next part? Then Negotiation - What negotiation? That loot is offset by ONE new tool or accessory or possibly (possibly?) square drive screws or fastener? I have been the victim of the one screw (not square) but don't understand the others.
