Nice job. There sure are a lot of pieces of the same size. Why not glue them to that thickness then cut them out. Seems like there would be less of a chance to not glueing them up straight?

1. If you are not in Europe/England you probably won't find any A4 sticker paper so I used Elmer's Repositionable spray (found it at Walmart) to stick the patterns on the ply for cutting.
2. Find some regular A4 paper and print the patterns at 100% from the PDF to keep the correct size of the parts.
3. Use 5/32" ply or as close to 4mm as you can get. 1/4" is too thick.
4. I substituted 3/16" dowel for the 4mm, 1/4" dowel for the 6mm and 5/8" dowel for the 16mm dowels and it worked fine.
5. Be sure to watch the videos at least 2 to 3 times or, better yet, download them so you can have them handy. Every time I watched them I picked up something new.
6. Don't get in a hurry. It's really easy to make a mistake on the glue-up. Pay close attention to the drawings and the order the numbered parts are assembled.

Since all pieces are made from same thickness plywood why is 1/4" too thick. I have 15/64" plywood or 6mm.

Poor choice of words, I guess. You can use it. But, be aware that the glue-up on the barrel will not go as shown on the video. You will have to be sure to get the dowel centered. On the first one I made I used 1/4" ply and the barrel came out off center by quite a bit. I didn't take into consideration that the gun was thicker by using 1/4" instead of 5/32" (4mm).wrmnfzy wrote:Since all pieces are made from same thickness plywood why is 1/4" too thick.
