Chuck, I grew up in the South so far out in the sticks that we didn't get The Grand Ole Opry till Monday.

I am sorry to hear that. Since I save to file all of the email specials, I'll probably not see anything in this edition that I don't already have. Now I am not so anxious.algale wrote:It is just the seasonal flyer. Not a comprehensive catalog. Doubt we will ever see another of those.
I have not seen the flyer but I would bet that they are! The keyless chuck is a relatively new item that they want to advertise.2centsworth wrote:Are the drill chucks in the flyer ? Fingers crossed ?
I like paper (catalogs) much better than digital versions. I probably should not. I am more inclined to make purchases from paper catalogs. I carry one in the truck for those long waits at the mall. That is when I found most of the items that I purchased.joedw00 wrote:I have not received one yet. I wish they would come out with at least one full catalog once a year. I am sure the prices would change during the year, but at least we would have one to order from. I like paper better than digital.
Now if only someone who got a catalog would respond to what is in it ? I guess they are too busy reading the new catalogdusty wrote:I have not seen the flyer but I would bet that they are! The keyless chuck is a relatively new item that they want to advertise.
I have always thought that a seasonal special should be offered on all miscellaneous hardware (nuts, bolts, screws, washers, knobs, switches, handles, windows, key chucks, etc, etc). It would be a sorta 'expanded' help kit without the wax, rags and hex wrench.
Hardware items that are unique to the Shopsmith equipment (available from no one other than Shopsmith) would be another good special offering.
This thread was about catalog items, right.
