I wanted to post a blank "I'm speechless" post, but this forum won't allow "blanks". My wife is standing next to me with her mouth hanging open.Image Image

I'm thinking the orginal ship didn't look THAT GOOD. What a GREAT JOB you did on it.
SS 500(09/1980), DC3300, jointer, bandsaw, belt sander, Strip Sander, drum sanders, molder, dado, biscuit joiner, universal lathe tool rest, Oneway talon chuck, router bits & chucks and a De Walt 735 planer,a #5,#6, block planes. ALL in a 100 square foot shop.

Thank you for the Posting!!

This is great. I like not only the craftsmanship, but the category as well. I love it when someone can keep alive an ideal. It does not matter if it's miniature -- the world has enough full-size yachts. The mind can be kept very sharp and tranquil by doing work like you've done.

Sincere Congratulations,
Chris

Den,

Are you still around? Looks fabulous. Nice photos of your other models on your website.

Did you happen to use any Shopsmith accessories?

That is amazing craftsmanship. Is this a model of an actual ship, if so what was/is its name?
