For me then, the center of the spindle will be 47 inches off the ground as my arms at my side bent at the elbow 90 is 47 inches from floor to flat palm. Anyone know the distance from the arbor shaft on the Shopsmith to the floor off the top of their head? Looks like I need to raise mine quite a bit, but I would do a temporary solution as the table saw height is perfect for me, while too high for most people. I use my Shopsmith now mostly for woodturning and the bandsaw in support of my woodturning habit.
