here is what I ended up with.
It's going to double stick to the wall sitting on my desk, so there was no reason to deal with the bottom.

I am impressed Farley. I tend to consider the band saw more a rough cut tool and you have given me a reminder that it can be used for so much more !

The issue seems fixed. At 6:00 AM no images. At 6:55 AM I see images again.

it was done with a table saw, repeated cuts to widen the slots.

Well that just busts my bubble. Here I was thinking you were the best band saw artist I ever saw ! Pun intended.

Greetings. Did anyone ever try any of the options noted here? Seems like a good project for someone needing business cards displayed on their desk. With the right piece of wood, would look pretty nice compared to a stack of cards in a cardboard box. Pix anyone?
