15" & the sky is still falling! We just got rid of the last batch yesterday. 60 degrees on Tuesday(two days ago). 0 degrees predicted tomorrow.

BEEG, I wish you had kept all this! :D

A 'small' town west of here had ALL their snow removal equipment destroyed in a fire last week.

Just got another six inches today! We've had more this year since the mid 1990's, but nowhere near as much as Boston, only 90 miles to my northeast!

Al Gore's Global Warming

Post by dusty »

The experts used to claim this condition was the dreaded result of "Global Warming" but now they refer to it as "Global Climate Change".

Grandpa used to say "Wait my boy, it is the weather pattern. It will change. Soon we will be out there planting in those fields".

Yes this is not a 'new' phenomenon. My earliest observation 'here' was over 60 yrs ago. Been several since then.

Feb/March are the times when they occur.

The sun is out today no doubt due to the cold front(clear sky) moving over us.

I am so ready for spring! Yesterday at noon it was 45 degrees with wind chill and today at noon it was -7 degrees with wind chill. We haven't seen anything above 32 degrees since about the first of January. It has been so cold around here that peoples septic systems are now freezing up.

I am not an alarmist, but just because we have been "cold" the last few winters here in the US the whole world has not. Every thing we do pumps heat into the atmosphere, no heat taken out!! India and China are the worst polluters!!!
JPG, when my in laws were leaving WI in retirement they spent a year in Charlotte, NC in the 80s, we had 20- temps in WI at Xmas time, they had 40s, dad was a golfer, Catholic with a Jewish wife, no private CC for him and cold temps, next year to FL, Pompano Beach, 26* on Xmas day in my running shorts!!!!! Go figure. Better get more snow removal stuff, just watched Lester Holt, at least he does not embellish, you got more snow in the last few weeks then in WI here all winter!!!!!! Nice pics!!!!!!! :)

B B, As FredSheldon would say, I'm just a Cheeseburger in Paradise!

And, since you are "living where it's COLD," "Boatdrinks! I gotta go
where it's WARM!"

"I shot 6 holes in my freezer.
I think I've got Cabin Fever.
I've got to go where it's WARM!"

Boat drinks. Boys in the band ordered
boat drinks.

Sorry guys, too many boat drinks.

Thanks to Jimmy Buffett!

10 ER, stripped down.
Basic 10ER, Parts machine. Will be a semi-dedicated drill-press machine.
10 ER, a "survivor" of the trailer fire, in the back yard, needing restoration. Has a Mk5 headrest. Finally, stripped down.
Numerous parts, for Model 10 stuff. Except for lower saw guard, A and B adapters, I've got it.

Looking for one more, or some 9 inch extension table raisers.
