Bob! That was exactly the right answer and I hadn't even asked the question.
And yeah 55 degrees, when I moved here from Boston I went barefoot at 40 degrees but I'm spoiled now.
For the record the tires are tracking nicely with no glue. And the old ones had no glue, I had taken them off to check a few years back.
Also they lasted at least 25 years under light duty. So that's good.
