I have posted a video of re-sawing the 6 ¼" board, but have not figured out how to put in a link.

I drew a redline down the hoped-for path just to be sure the WoodSlicer blade was not wandering - it didn't.

And, YES, algale. I plan to do this again. I like single board items because the color of the wood is so consistent.

Ah, Chuck, you found me out! Yes, my steel sanding disk was on the PP - as it is whenever I bandsaw. I think the inertia of it helps with the low-speed clunking of my PP.
