Count me in Leonard. I got a call from Linda today. I had ordered the Kreg BandsawFence. I kept checking the website over a few days and I order just showed shipping. Then magically the fence showed up here at the house. The order at the website still showed shipping. Apparently the website nor Shopsmith ever received record of the tracking number so Linda was calling to be sure I received my order. I asked her if she was the Linda retiring and she said yes. I explained that she would be sorely missed in the SS community and that she had quite the fan following out here. She was very kind and told me that she started with SS out of high school and had been there every since (she is earl retirement age now), said she needed to take care of a parent. I wisher the best and she that she please pass along her exceptional customer service skill to her peers before she leaves. Very nice lady indeed!!!

I didn't work with her much, but you can count me in also. We all could do a paypal "gift" transfer to one of us and then they take care of the details ...

Just a thought ...

I have a PayPal account and will take care of that aspect of this effort when the time comes. Good idea. Thanks for the suggestion.

I will donate $50.00 to the cause. Just let me know the paypal account address if you do this.

I think that shopsmith could set up an email account to paypal for her, collect the money (wouldn't take long) and then get her something nice ... like a Mark 7 or something :D

They know her better than any of us, get someone inside the organization to coordinate this ....

Company policy wouldn't allow accepting a gift, although we, as well as you, appreciate all she has done.

I did think that messages of appreciation and well-wishing would be a nice gesture. Her last day is Friday. I'll set up the phone number 1-937-410-0019 (starting Friday) to allow everyone to leave messages for her.

Thanks admin for helping us thank her for her wonderful service to her customers.

Since "company policy" doesn't allow her to accept a gift, should we just wait until Saturday to give it to her?
