This Michigan Frog has mixed emotions. The Nova is great and I am looking forward to using it. On the other hand, my replacement backup plate for the belt sander came, and it is significantly warped. To Shopsmith's credit they are sending a replacement right out, but it is a mystery to me how this would have passed even the most rudimentary of inspection.

I love my Nova G3. I also bought a 1"x 8TPI adapter to use on my old Delta/Rockwell Gap bed lathe. I'm a little late on this reply, you may already have yours. Know you will enjoy.

Mine is here, but my shop isn't, quite yet.

I'll post back, once I try this in action.
I've got 2 Model 10s ready to try, once
I move.

10 ER, stripped down.
Basic 10ER, Parts machine. Will be a semi-dedicated drill-press machine.
10 ER, a "survivor" of the trailer fire, in the back yard, needing restoration. Has a Mk5 headrest. Finally, stripped down.
Numerous parts, for Model 10 stuff. Except for lower saw guard, A and B adapters, I've got it.

Looking for one more, or some 9 inch extension table raisers.

I'm moving. Hopefully, by the end of next month, I'll
be in my new place. One of those "house" things, with a
shop in the back yard.
