My 2 pull saws have replaceable blades. I have found it much easier to damage the pull saw - a drawback of the thinnest I imagine.

Both still have use in my 'shop.'

I have both the dovetail and the 12" carpenter. They are amazing.

One tip that a friend passed along for pull is to hold a scrap of 1x1 (or similar size) directly on top of the cut line to use as a guide instead of a finger knuckle against the blade. I think it more mental than anything else but I feel safer and helps me start the cut.
