Paul, those are really good looking chairs.

Your work is so nice that I suggest you take pictures while you work on a project, write it up with words and submit to Highland Woodworking Online magazine.

They give you store credit, I think up to $100, if they "publish" in their online magazine. :)

Forrest,Your project turned out great.
Just a little technical points on these.The slats,rails and stringers [or whatever they are called] are all mortised and tenoned into the legs with housed mortise joints.I then countersunk and screwed them from the out side.I cut tenon like caps to cover the screws and make it look like they all are through tenons.I chose to do all this by hand ,with chisels ,saws and hammer.I suck with routers and most power tools, hah
