The Dr. on the FOX News channel said this morning, it is 7th grade science. Although I was pretty good at 7th grade science, just don't remember how this light reflection works.

If you are looking at a display(light emitter) you are not seeing 'reflected light'.

A 'white' object reflects all colors. A 'black' object reflects none. One sees the reflected object as the the sum of all the reflected light. The appearance will also be dependent upon the light source.

i.e. a red object(appears red when illuminated by white light[evenly distributed wavelengths]) will appear white under red light, and will appear black under green light. A white object will appear to be the color of the light source.

In any event color is a perceived thing, regardless of its source.

That's the way I 'see' it! :D
So if you are looking through blue eyes (like I'm ) that makes Sevenup Uncola ..... :p

My colors aren't part of the poll?!?

I see a light pale blue and an pale orange.

Yes, I've known there was something wrong with me for decades  and no I am not color blind (or not so when I take my drivers license exam).

I've had lasik surgery, but am back to UV coated lenses on my glasses, but taking them off does not make a difference.....

Any explanation would be nice.

Be well,
Ben

Apparently, the dress really is blue and black. There are photos at the end of this video, which also contains an explanation.

I, my wife and daughter all see it as white and gold. My son sees blue and black.

The stats I saw outside of this forum indicate that most people do see white and gold with white and gold leading black and blue by about 4:1.

In THAT picture, blue and gold.

But, those aren't the choices.

More "internet" bull feces?
Can we blame Al Gore? Hope
so!

He didn't "discover" the "internet,"
but he DID INVENT "Global Warming."
(And, "Global Whining," which put
almost ONE BILLION in his PERSONAL
pocket!)

(Sorry to get political here, but this
IS the place for it.)

Of course Al Gore never said he invented* the internet, though he did have a major role in its promotion. See what Vint Cerf says http://web.eecs.umich.edu/~fessler/misc ... re,net.txt.

And global warming pre-dates his birth, so he didn't invent that, either. http://www.aip.org/history/climate/co2.htm

You always make me research my answers. And, for that, I thank you. I learn so much in my responses.

*I know that's not the term you used.
