The table is made parallel to a plane defined by the two tie rods by singly adjusting the jack screws and syncing them with the chain(four [almost] corners).
Adjusting the blade height to the cutter head should then create boards correctly(even thickness).
Did you get the blade height setting gauge? If not, get one!

No gauge or manual, just the machine. I'll be ordering the gauge directly. Just ordered some blades last week, didn't know about no stinkin' planer :-)

I downloaded a manual, haven't read thru it yet though. Hopefully there is something on this adjustment, or a post on the forum somewhere. Thanks for all the good advice. :-)
