NO help menu in mine.
FWIW, I have never seen a Microsoft application that did not have a help function. You just have to find it.
No 'help' in mine either. Load pix than click on resize.

Sheesh! A '?'.
Would be 'nicer' if it were 'on the ribbon' with all the other 'functions'
Icons are bad enough, but punctuation symbols? Bleeh!

If you say so but I don't believe it. You just have to find it. What version of Windows are you using?

Hee Hee Hee We are all subject to the nerds that write the programs. To them these things are perfectly natural because that is all they do. For the rest of us out in the hinterland we don't know because we have other things we are interested in besides learning new computer programs.
However, I will say a ? mark does pretty much translate to Help. It is just not as obvious since it is not where most of us are used to finding Help. Icon Icon Icon

Get 'Irfanview'(free ), reduce the size, then attach.

I took your advice and it is excellent! Easy to use, much easier to resize than in Paint.

Sure! Now put that on the screen with the 'word' HELP in close proximity.
F1 means variable programer assigned function key number one. Tis the programmers responsibility to identify what function it triggers(on the screen seems a good place to do that

).
The days of minimizing code because of limited ram are long gone. Guess we have come full circle(back where we started).

Pressing the F1 key while in paint will bring up the help box there is also a ? on the top right hand side on the paint screen. At least it is there on my laptop running 8.1.
