Wow! Nice call, Dusty! I've had my guard off, but don't recall that part.
Guess I didn't take it apart enough

Charlese, i felt the same way when I went to the shop to look around for this part. I was surprised when it showed up right there in plan sight on the jointer. I guess I really do take that finger guard for granted. I never operate without it.
