So, what does a PP run if you order from Lowes? What amount of savings is there? And do you have to pay for it, the minute that you order or can it be spread out, during their lengthy shipping schedule?

Is the PP only the headstock? And if so, then 'I guess' you utilize the base of your previous unit?

put it on your lowes cc, and get a discount and pay off the minimum over 30 years.

Comes different ways.

All new headstock $$$$$$$$$$$

You trade in your headstock for one modified with PP motor. $$$

A DIY upgrade kit. $

Not sure ALL those options are 'current'.

Only the headstock is altered.

In my case I went to a Lowe's while demo was going on. I ordered the do-it-yourself kit. I got a head stock from Bill Mayo to put the powerpro in. I don't have the paper work here at the moment but the kit plus tax and shipping I believe came to less then $1600. I got a discount but you can opt to use your Lowe's card (5% discount) or do a payment plan and I think you have a year to pay it off. I didn't go that way but perhaps someone else remembers their details for that case.

They have reduced prices on upgrades and shipping during the demos so if you want those prices you have to attend and order that way.

I will be going for the rest of the upgrades next year. Just too much to spend this year. I want the dual tilt, lift, and etc. and make my second 520 in to the latest and greatest.

My mentor told me years ago, 'Chris, buy the best tool that you can afford and then learn how to use it, to its fullest potential'!

Only if someone buys it paints it that way after I'm gone. No this is a totally new color idea I've had and can't wait to see how it turns out. I was at a farm store and got some tractor paint that should stand up quite well. I might give a small preview in a few days.
