I've had one of Rockler's Router tables for a few years. I've been disappointed in the quality. The table and fence are melamine (or melamine like) material over mdf. The melamine layer if VERY thin. I've chipped the table in several spots and the fence. I am not rough on equipment but things get banged around in the shop especially when working with larger pieces of stock. Plus of the inserts I purchased doesn't fit flat with the table even when the adjusting screws are backed out all the way. There's more but you get the idea.
I'm think of resurfacing the table with Formica.
I go there mostly for supplies, not tools.

I went to Rockler today. I had a $10. off coupon. After watching Nick use the Wixey to adjust the table to the blade, I decided to get one. Really cool.
While I was there, I looked at the crosscut sled. It did include the aluminum fence/protractor. I played with it a bit, and it seemed really smooth. I didn't feel any looseness when moving the protractor. Maybe, a person could replace the miter bar with the miter bar from SS. I saw one under components for jigs for $38.30. Just a thought.
