Looks like you will have to hurry to take advantage of this price. From the store:

I picked some up at my Menards for myself and as stocking stuffers. They were bogo for $7.99, limit 2 free.

Walk out, put them in the car, go back in buy more, walk out...

Yeah, if I thought I needed that many.

dgreen810 wrote:Speaking of storage tools, I bought 25 of these stackable ammo cans several years ago and truly wish I had bought a pallet of them. 50 Cal., side latch waterproof with a gasket lid. Every time someone comes in this shop, they want to buy a couple. I paid $3.00 a piece for them, much higher than your plastic ones, but then again will probably be around a little longer.
The are world war II vintage, and if you are lucky enough to find some, latch on to them. No pun intended

Yes I can see this lot arriving at my garage....... Of course I have no place to put them but it would be interesting to see how long before a black SUV or two pulls up and checks all my "ammo".

I have a few here. They are great with a rubber seal. Don't need that many though.

To set the record straight, those cans are not what I have. They are about twice as heavy. These are with a side latch and much easier to handle. You really need to be careful and know what you are bidding on to get the "Good ones".

They are back and at a better price!
I stopped by yesterday for some bar stock and saw these in the new ad so I got another two pack of them. It was interesting as I had just used up or is that stored up my last one from my last purchase.
It is the same sort of deal, buy one get one free but the price has dropped to $4.99 so it is a better deal now.
Sale good until March 26.

Thanks for the update. I ordered some and the shipping cost is less than the fuel to drive to a store for me.
