I've had one of the original Trend headgears and it's been a great buy! I solved the battery problem by going to Radio Shack and grabbing a 3 AA cell holder, some AA NiCads, a plug that fit my mask and a charger. Much cheaper than the Trend extra batteries and I always have a fresh pack on hand.

So I have been working in the shop for two days solid turning and sanding Paduak. I love this mask. Not a speck of red dust in my nose and sinuses. I am totally impressed with its capability. I was worried I would get a sore neck but not an issue.

I like to think balancing the Trend on my head is part of my fitness routine, strengthening my neck, right? :D

A plug for Trend"s customer service.

The headband in my Airshield broke, so I called customer service and told them that I had broken my headband. The response was "We'll send you one."

It came a few days later and I'm back in business.
