You need pulley dia. and distance apart and it figures it out for you.

Greenie, Grayling, SS stand alone BS and BS SPT, jointer and belt sander, 3 Ers with Speed Changers. I think those 3 cover my ER needs, and space for them. :)

Which is WHY I say use a steel one. It is flexible enough to curve around the pulley, yet stiff enough to not squeeze into the pulley 'groove'.

FWIW the cloth ones have a bad habit of stretching. Well that has already been said. :rolleyes:

I found this on the Yahoo 10ER Shopsmith Users forum.
We've been using 32" belts on them Carl. There should be plenty of motor adjustment to make a 32" or 33" belt work.

Thanks everyone. I didnt think about wrapping a tape measure or string around the pulleys. Very simple idea!!!
