Band saw quetion

I also put on a set of Blue Max tires. The only problem I had was a few weeks ago when I turned the speed control the wrong way to full speed. Before I could react I threw the bottom tire off! Quickly shut it down and put the tire back on (smack myself on the forehead with my palm!). No damage done.

I look forward to that day Algale. So for now I'll pit the tires that Shopsmith has sold me. Should I have problems with them I'll try some of these other ideas. YIKES, I thought this would easy. Thanks again
