The corners I was talking about are the ones on the holder to the right and left of the green arrow. From the picture they appear to infiltrate the holes for the way tubes.

That is more better It was just the sight perspective on the other picture.

Most often more better is better so glad to provide a picture of the area in question. Again it is nothing fancy but it appears functional.

Yes, each laser has two settings. My hope is that things might work out so you can interchange them on more then one shopsmith with out having to redo the aim. I know a lot of people have only one shopsmith so that would not be a deal for them but since I have a couple it would be nice to just mount and use them on more then one machine.

Looks great Ed. I just showed it to my wife and she is all over it for her scroll saw work.

I have thought about this in the past. I would mount it just as you have but I didn't know that any given brand would fit between the way tubes. I see the one you bought is from Peachtree on Amazon so it should be pretty good quality. Looking at the fit I guess it might not work on the 10ER since the way tubes are closer together but maybe with a bracket mod.

I think I will get one on order asap.

Keep me/us posted for an ER, granted on the tubes, but that is a given. May have to make the front side of the bracket deeper or trim some of the plastic off of the Laser.

Looks like Ed's clears the tubes on the MK V OK. The only part that projects between the tubes is the 'V' bracket and that will clear a 10ER. I was thinking as you, just may have to make the front bracket wider for the 10ER.

These things are designed to fit a large number of drill presses so even if you have to mount it more forward it should not matter.

My 10ER is in boxes so I can't check it out but if it helps I can do some measurements of the laser......
