It looks like a fancy version of what I was thinking about.

I haven't got back to my testing of the idea but this brings new hope.

I have the Mag fence now and have not had time to work on testing these two together. They have a set of thicknesses which one could also do if it works out that this really works. What could be really interesting is if you want to make say 1/4" stock for boxes and you can figure out how much more material you need to sand of plane off then make a spacer that gives you that thickness....

So much fun things to think about and so little time to do them.
