Kona
Welcome to the "mad house".
First thing is to spend a few nights with some good reading material. THE OWNERS MANUAL" Get to know your new toy and then check it out completely and oil and wax it . Do not turn the speed control without having the shafts turning. Bad things can happen.
If you have questions come back here and ask away.

Nah Beave... I wasn't implying OCSD is a bad thing... It's just that the machines can become so addictive...Beave2012 wrote:You say OCSD like it's a bad thing... And who says I have a problem? My shopsmiths fix my problems. Both of em... Or are you just saying that cause you want to sell yours? If so, how much? J/k lololdiron wrote:Welcome to the forum Kona... Watch out, Once you and your wife start playing with the machine, You'll probably start looking for a second machine especially with the size of your shop!!!!!!
Who knows, You may end up like some us with a case of OCSD(aka, Obsessive Compulsive Shopsmith Disorder)....
Mike
I have "ZERO" interest in selling any of mine!

Re: New Mark V Owner
You did good!
That is a fairly recently produced 510 with a "C" headstock(good).
The bandsaw itself is worth half of what you paid!
