I think most of his designs were coated in fiberglass. The hard part is figuring out which design to make. Many of Phil Bolger's designs are listed here: http://hallman.org/bolger/isometrics. There are also many other boat plans but I like several of B0lger's designs.

I went and looked at these panels this morning and it was interesting. This place recycles balsa wood. Never heard of it before. This stuff comes in in big blocks all glued together with resin glue. Once they get them they sq the blocks up which is where these panels come from the ends. Then the cut them into whatever size they have orders for. He said they make around 50 pallets a week of these cutoff panels. Now we all know what balsa wood is, they burn it in there wood stove in the warehouse. One panel will burn for a couple of hours. I guess they will tell you anything to get rid of them LOL. I brought some pieces home in the put them in my outdoor furnace. An hour later they are still burning. Only thing I have ever heard of using balsa for in models but he did not say where it was going. Must be a good market somewhere. Thanks for all the replys
