I did the Bill Mayo bearing upgrade. Great upgrade, quiet bandsaw, and outstanding contributor to this forum and SS owners everywhere. Thanks Bill!!!!!

Done and done. High pitched intermittent squeal gone and everything is lined up nicely now that it is all in alignment again. Great bearings and smooth action! Took a while to get it all lined up correctly. That upper bearing is hard to line up in 3D space, lots of front to back and side to side adjustment. :)

Much easier to run now on the ears. Great upgrade. I would highly recommend to anyone on the fence!

Hope they last a good long while. Bill stated he's had one going for at least 5 years without issue so if I get that long, I will be a happy camper!

I recently installed Bills bearings and I'm very happy with it. Much quieter.
