Thanks guys. No, I don't go cheap. I was thinking a Timber Wolf blade, one of the best on the market.

I use Timber Wolf blades here. FYI, the cheapest prices I have found on these blades are direct from Timber Wolf (Suffolk Machinery Inc.).

The identification plate will be on the side of the headstock with two output shafts.

Is there a 'STICKER' with a 'date' above or below the vent plate(lower shaft)?

Interesting, I am by no means on expert on SS but I have not seen one that did not have a date on it. Hopefully the other residents of the asylum can help you figure out what year it born.
