I like the idea of the Rockler table, but my first choice is ( or was, I'm on the fence now) the Kreg table. Stronger tracks from what I've read, and some great clamps included. Great for aligning face frames which I've been waiting to build.

I have not used the rockler table for kreg work. I have a small 2' x 4' sheet of plywood that I attached two oak strips to at a right angle and have a kreg clamp mount embedded in the plywood for making such joints. I built it way back when as I was just getting into the kreg system. It works but it may end up getting replaced at some point with either the rockler table or the kreg table and or kreg hardware on my own designed table.

Kreg has some really nice track for their system but I guess I view it as being a different animal then the rockler system and if I could I'd like to have both, which I in a way I do now. I guess what I'm saying is I view them as having different functions.

Is there any T track other than what is offered by ShopSmith that is compatible with ShopSmith?

Compared to the Kreg table are there any other plus and minus? Opinion? Anyone!

If you look at the Kreg system:

It is more for doing their style clamping for frames, nothing in the center area, the Rockler has more in the middle and less to the edges so to speak. Hence my take on deciding what you expect of your system and if either one will work really well for the others purpose.
