That aught to do it! It's amazing what can stick to glass yet not be noticed.

Even here in Tucson where we get a lot less rain and no snow/ice, I go through wiper blades too. At least once a year. The sun/heat dries out the rubber.

WOW some of you have some pretty amazingly long lasting blades. Before posting here I reviewed a lot of information and "experts" still go with the 6 months to a year change interval.
In my owners manual it doesn't say when in terms of time or at least I couldn't find it. The manual is pretty useless that way. They cover things like oil changes, and the like but the little stuff is just not there.
The longest last advertised blade was for 5 years and I was tempted by it but the ones I ordered were rated slightly better in reviews.
Are you people sure the blades are lasting that long? The reason I ask is a fellow at work was telling us how he only had to add washer fluid once a year to his car and then it only took about a quart. Turns out his wife was always running out of fluid so she would stop in and have it filled. When he drove the car it was always fine, well except for once or so a year.
Are any of you using the "I" type blades? I have my first set on and will be trying a second set, they come with a major curve to them but I'm not so happy with the ones I have on in that they do not conform well to the windshield now after only about 9 months.
My cars never see the inside of the garage. The choice is tool inside and dry or car inside and dry..........sorry car.

The best set I ever had were either Bosh or Rainex, still only lasted about a year, and I dont use them to squirt and wipe to try and get frost off in the winter if the car happened to be out over night.

The new blades arrived as promised and I have them mounted. So now time will tell. If they don't last at least a year then why pay a premium price....
Used the window washer with them and they did perfect coverage. Being new I expected that.
