Cleaned up the base machine, lubed it, and waxed it. Here are some updated pictures.

Made in December 1992, and runs the same, if not better than my 2002 headstock. Nice to get a shaper head out of the deal too as I have the blades but no head from my last 500 series purchase.

Btw the 3rd floating table is a left over from my 520 original purchase. Guess I found a use for it after all.

Well I have 2 chucks, 1 key, and now 3 shopsmiths. Good thing one is setup as a permanent drill press.

I am sure you will train them up right, broom for clean up, some hands on, and every thing back in its place. :)

As penance for stealing this, he is going to box up the bandsaw,
go over to Lover's house, and get his new speedchanger, to
include in said box.

Now, he's mailing BOTH of them to me! :D

Don't sit up waiting for the mail 'person'!
Not me. I went wild a while back hitting yard sales and have too many extra parts as it is. I keep getting tempted though when 510's pop up but not many nice ones have presented themselves for a decent price lately and I haven't seen a 520 in forever.

So after cleaning up the bandsaw it appears to be in fairly good shape. So I guess the question is, would it be worth it be worth keeping a second bandsaw? I'm thinking one in real blade with fence and the other for a smaller curvy blade... But I also have a scroll saw. So I'm thinking of selling it for 50-75 or just keeping it.

It simply needs new tires. Opinions?

The jointer I will sell because who honestly needs 2 of those heavy things. Lol
