WOOT!

I used some of my wife's high falutin card stock. I wish it was legal size though. Oh well. It took 3 layers. Miter Gauge clears the notch and the extrusion is below the table top.

Thank you so much.

Danke Schon.

Yep, I've got a list for 'em.

I don't mind doing a fix/mod such as this cuz it can be easily reversed.

I think I understand but if I do your measurements are completely different than mine.

I think the bandsaw table miter gauge slot(sans) extrusion is de culprit.

Too deep.

Miter Slot in the table too deep or aluminum extrusion not tall enough???

Since that same extrusion is used many other places, I think the table is more likely(but as you have said not the only possibility).

The depth of the table slot should only slightly deeper than the extrusion is thick. (extrusion thickness +? - 0)

I would assume that the tables come from only one source while the aluminum extrusions could very easily be from more than one. One casting - one table configuration.

If anything is being manufactured incorrectly, my money is on the aluminum extrusion.

I agree Dusty, BUT who is doing the quality control check for/at SS/MS?

No QA that I know of checks 100% of product. Things do slip through.
