Very very neat project. Glad you shared.

As a side note (since we all gander at the shop area with pictures too [ie brick wall conversation]), whats going on with that "power strip"? Is that all one breaker or multiple? Was it a "I need another outlet as I filled the others" and it continued to grow again and again? Just curious.

Oh and if you are worried about any "errors" on your projects, my advise is just ignore them (almost everyone else will never know) or embrace them and show them off (my hand tool case is a great example as I TOTALLY messed up and make it to become a part of the case, wouldn't want it perfect). Great project!

Beave I saw that same "power strip", but did not ask, I figured he had it handled ;) Man that is a lot of outlets though, surprised JPG did not pick up on it, he picked up on the brick wall, which I did too, but I thought it was Skou, working in his living room work shop.

Yes JPG noticed but left it alone.

I think I also noticed they are on a box. Maybe a left-over from the IT sales area.

Gotta wonder why separate single gang boxes though.

Great question! I was wondering when someone would catch that :D ....

I was one of the first ISP's in the state of New Mexico. In those days, you hosted all of your own servers. Email, DNS (x4), login, web, bookkeeping, and a few others. I built that for the server "farm" that we had in that very room (although behind partition walls). All those plugs were necessary for the digital modem banks, routers, switches, UPS's, etc. When I gutted this half of the building again, i just rescued the power bar for this. It only has to power a max of two machines at any one time (the DC and a SS) and maybe a light. Works great! :D

I think I also noticed they are on wheels.

No wheels I see on the power strip cabinet. I cant imagine that for a shop, must be a left over from his IT days.

Well mine does not seem that great the past year  Ya know what they say, if you dont use it, ya loose it!!! A year here with mom and no saw dust making till this summer, all winter just on the net, and her and cooking, which I love to do, but no mind challenges. I re read every measurement, double think stuff, 2nd guessing myself, all things that just flowed mentally b4, I know some that is just age, but dont like it. It will come back with use now, it did once b4 when I was at "summer camp" for 9 months around 2012.
