I ordered the tables August 2016

Paid $72.39 for 516524 crosscut sliding table
Paid $40.13 for 555526 crosscut sliding table /Aux

Shopsmith added 516619 miter gauge bar for $18.81

I said Shopsmith because it was not on my order list

I got these prices before the increase through Doug Reed.

Maybe Doug was looking out for me. I don't know, but I was happy to get the miter bar. I too wondered why it was not included.

That is the one without the miter bar. What were you trying to order?

I received the sliding table. I did not know they sold anything different.

I just looked and see the other options so I stand corrected, I must have ordered the complete set as my cost (all three added together) is $131.33

I see the new price is $137.00

My receipt shows the part numbers listed above

I believe I have the samecross cut table that you have but I have made a couple modifications.

I changed the fence using parts from an old Mark V 510 fence.

I modified the auxiliary table so that it functions a a ZCI. It also helps to keep the cross cut table square to the blade.

I added a miter bar that rides in the miter track I have mounted at the right end of the main table.

How did you modify the auxiliary table? Did you reposition the plastic miter bar closer to the blade? Did you have to reposition the metal miter bar on the main table to move the main table closer?

Thanks.

How did you modify the auxiliary table? Did you re-position the plastic miter bar closer to the blade? Did you have to reposition the metal miter bar on the main table to move the main table closer?

I apologize. I thought the pictures would answer those questions. Yes, the plastic miter bar is in other than the normal position. Doing that relocates the auxiliary table to the right. I then lowered the table down onto the blade to cut the slot you see in the auxiliary table.

There were no changes made to the cross cut sled until I added the fence that you see in the pictures.
