Part IS available!!!
But only with two other parts as an assembly.

BTW It is
supposed to rise slightly above the base slightly when tightened.

Well I put the bar stock into the channel and closed it up inside the vice. It worked great!! Just hope the next guy don't overdo it or it may go out of bounds again or crack.
Did not heat it just slow and steady.
