I think you are going to love it!
As I mentioned I own 4 of them and the only problem I had was with the 1/4" collet on one of them. Put the bit in and then it would not let go. It took a good deal of effort to get out without damaging the bit. I contacted Hitachi and they sent me a new one.
Then I did something dumb and kept the old one. I thought maybe I had done something wrong the first time........... not so. The collet was bad but I ended up having to get the second bit out, again not an easy job. Not sure what was up with it but the others and the new one did not act that way.
I still remember powering up the first one. It was so quiet I thought I must have it set at low speed. Looked and it was on high. That one thing impressed me so much. Then when I got into using it I decided it would be my router of choice for a few additions I needed. Not at all sorry I went that way.
