You have no way of knowing this. A foreign based company could very easily pay US citizens wages and benefits, use US resources to complete R&D projects and reinvest all potential profits.Ed in Tampa wrote:In a perfect world everything would be built in the USA by USA companies. Being made In The USA by a outside USA company sounds good but all profit, all R&D money, all spendable income goes out of the USA.
What Shopsmith is doing has been forced on it but is the next to the best scenario of what could happen and far from the worst situation.
