Check these places - top of miter gauge, sides of belt sander, front of rip fence, table leveling screw for strip sander If not found, keep it (them)in a place where you will know where it is for future reference.

If you really want to find out in a hurry where it goes, throw it away.

It is not for the way tubes, I looked.

I have the infeed/outffeed table brackets (555997), I found four of these type with the set. I checked the table extension legs they have all hardware.

This is a picture. It fits our Allen tool, so it must be for the shopsmith. I found it under the shopsmith.



Any clue?

When I find setscrews laying around the shop, I generally discard them. They came loose and I don't believe a good setscrew will come loose under normal operating conditions. HOWEVER, operating without a setscrew where there should be one could be hazardous.

A thorough inspection is in order. Unfortunately, you probably should not limit your inspection to only those locations that are suppose to use a 1/2" flat point. There may have been a substitute installed by someone unless, of course, you are the original owner.

Try looking at the SPT's. I think that the bandsaw set screws that are used to hold the mounting posts may be close to that length. Also check anything that you have taken apart to transport your stuff.

I need to retrace my steps as I was trying to make a sacrificial fence for the table saw.

I used the jointer to flatten a board, I then went to the horizontal boring to make holes, then I put two t-nuts and put board on the fence. I have not lowered the saw into the fence as I honestly don't know how far to lower the blade.

I looked at the fence last night, did not notice anything. I had not checked the jointer as it is one heavy piece; but I will.
