Nice and at 230 am. I have not gotten into to many hand planes, but I have 2 old Stanly's pocket planes that I love and paid pennies for.
They do what I want, break an edge, trim a small piece to fit, ect

Talk about dust vs. shavings. I had one plane that sharpened really nicely. I was pulling sweet shavings off a plank of butternut. These long shavings went in to the DC3300 and got caught in the impeller area, making the dust-collector quite noisy!

I love a plane with all its curved lines on the body. I'm restoring an old Stanley and even my wife liked the new knob I turned on my PowerPro:

Here is a quick shot of my temporary "plane shelf". Before anyone panics, it's rubber padded. They are still filthy dirty. Tool cleaning is a constant thing. At least in this shop there is no rusting. The farm shop is bad about sweating tools. This basement shop is not.
I have no idea where my phone camera picked up all of that yellow. That is just unfinished OSB behind the shelf. The wood-burning furnace is at my left but it is bright red. Nothing in the shop is yellow.
