I understand what a diamond is. I have bought thousands and thousands of dollars worth of diamonds for my wife. A good investment.

I was speaking in general as I think Al was.

It looks like it might be Hans Goldschmidts working design model. :D

I found the one on Vintage Machinery by looking through their photo section under the Combo Machine category. http://vintagemachinery.org/photoindex/bytype.aspx
There were a lot of different combo machines made in the early part of the 1900's, the 10er was certainly one of best engineered and most successful (and near and dear to many of our hearts ;) ) but not the first or the only one.

Hey Skou, what do you call that thing they play baseball on? A baseball square rotated 45 degrees? :D :D :D

Keep telling yourself that! Great investment for the diamond dealer!
But since the value of a diamond is in the eyes of the seller you may have a valuable diamonds or you may have cheap diamonds that cost you a fortune.

One thing sure is unless you are a diamond broker you will pay many times over actual broker costs for a diamond. Guaranteed!

Here is a photo of one of these machines that looks like it just got a fresh coat of green paint but the label seems to be intact, I think it says "supershop".

Yes there were a lot of these polymorphic machines designs for a while but now we are down to just the shopsmith so far as I know. Anyone know of another such machine still being made?

I had to enlarge it to read it but it definitely does say SuperShop! Nice find.

A 'square' is an equilateral 'diamond'.

A tube has an empty interior.(i.e. hollow cross section)

I've heard that a rod is just a tube with
the inner diameter being zero. :D

10 ER, stripped down.
Basic 10ER, Parts machine. Will be a semi-dedicated drill-press machine.
10 ER, a "survivor" of the trailer fire, in the back yard, needing restoration. Has a Mk5 headrest. Finally, stripped down.
Numerous parts, for Model 10 stuff. Except for lower saw guard, A and B adapters, I've got it.

Looking for one more, or some 9 inch extension table raisers.
