Sears: It’s years ago now but I recall looking forward to the sales fliers. These were between the seasonal catalogs and always had a tool-hardware section. In those days was repairing the old (starter) house and thinking about the new one, but best of all, my wife worked part time in the Sears Catalog section. So that was another 10% off from the already “good deal” in the sales flier. So me, my brothers and Dad have a store of Craftsman tools. The hand tools may not be Snap-on or the power tools Dewalt but they got us by. In fact Dad made his living with them. And I still bang things out on the overhead saw, quick and dirty but it works.

Sears: It hurts to see the old girl go, particularly this way. A symptom of our time but that’s another discussion.
