It is usually referred to as a Model 10ER. ;)

It could even be the earlier 10E... definitely in the 10E/10ER range. I love them for turning, with the optional speed control.

Ding ding ding Winner!!! It's a 10Er. I still need a speed changer for it. I have made the most out of the 3 speeds and feel like the need for a speed changer is almost not needed!

I believe it's Ash Oak and I know for sure shapely. Have a friend that does custom cabinets, and a friend that does high-end garage doors so I get all their scraps.

Seeing pictures helped me visualize what a segment bowl is. I purchased the Miter Set (both sets) but have yet to use as I have not understood what the segmented Miter Set was for. Even on their website they don't show examples.
Now I see...I could be wrong...

I first cut the segment pieces
Glue them together in a circle
Attach other "circles" together
then lathe a bowl!!

Now I know what the $129.00 I spent were meant to be used for.
