Very nice. I especially like the stakebed pickup.

I really like making toys. People sometimes look at wood toy and not realize how much work goes into them. They can be quite challenging. Finishing in particular.

I've made a few toys myself.

John, these are fantastic. The painting, design and all is excellent work and no child will be critical or unhappy. I love making toy cars and truck, not nearly as nice as yours and carry them with me to the stores. When I hear a child unhappy, I often walk over to the parents and ask if I can give the child a toy and show them. Most of the time, the parents, child and customers have a happier shopping experience.

Great work and keep those pictures coming, John. Also, glad to see you back on the forums.

I love it when she says I can go make sawdust. ;) :D

Thanks guys.

I started out making toys and returned to it because it is fun and I get much less frustrated when I make mistakes. I can also add my own touches to them without altering the project too much.

Swampgator:

Nice touch to make a child happy. I was planning to order some plans for smaller vehicles to use up smaller scraps and this could be a good incentive.

Have Fun!

John
