Sir- I have and use 3 conical disks and 3 flat disks. To remove Shopsmith paper-
I heat the disk -gently- with a common propane torch, slide a spatula between disk and paper, pull in the paper disk. The sandpaper disk removes- then, while the metal disk is still warm, I spray with WD40. WD40 gels the glue. With some gentle scraping it is easily removed. Then a wipe or two with spray electrical cleaner- brake cleaner-
