I guess 'better' is in the eyes of the beholder.

Older (M5/MV 500) only vary by the table(s) size and rip fence.

All that newer stuff is bigger, BUT it is also HEAVIER(especially the main table!!!).

Unless I am working with large workpieces, I prefer the smaller stuff.

A lot less effort to 'manipulate'.
