I understand that premise yet when you consider the volume of the documentation that exists within the forums, easily the massive volume of information hosted here was not produced by them. It was produced by us.
As I understand it 'Marketing' objects to placing anything that has "Buying Used Shopsmith" vs something that promotes buying a New Shopsmith at the top of the Maintenance and Repair Forum so every visitor would see the words "Buying Used" every time they visit the forum, even though the original document the thread originated with was titled by Shopsmith staff "Buying a Used Shopsmith"
All I did was enhance the content with photos and links and added the word "Revisited"
I will Change the Name of the Thread itself to "Shopsmith Large Format Drawings, Illustrations and More".
If that satisfies the Marketing folks then maybe they could revisit the issue. I am deeply honored by the comments here including Admin's and I am so humbled that those who responded to this topic did so unanimously in favor of it.
I am totally committed to Shopsmith equipment, having bought my first new Shopsmith, (an Ultimate Edition) in the early 1980's.
I fully intend to buy another new Shopsmith. I see Mark 7 Power Pro in my future. It is a remarkable piece of technology, and I encourage everyone to consider doing the same.
Many owners or aspiring owners would likely agree!
Someone asked me recently if I really wanted one. Without any hesitation I replied no. I want two!
