Food for thought,, no pun intended.

The storage will be for coffee beans not so much grounds , I was looking to control transferring any odor from the wood to the beans, one of the video's mentioned the c/a is a food grade finish, normally I would finish with a oil and wax or just a spray finish , or shellac. I am not to much a fan of urethanes .

would prefer the no finish inside of the container but like said don't want to re-flavor my favorite beans .

Is not Shellac food grade? It is after all a natural product.

I don't know? ,, it would have to be better then some other stuff,not sure if it will take constant scraping .


Not sure C/A will either but if it is supper glue it might be a tougher finish ?.

I have used tung oil for food utensils .

YES it is and is also used in some foods and medicines.

I seen the video on it , I Just dont think that is a flavor I would like in my coffee lol.
