That is true, they made minor changes to the head stock casting when they when from the double wedge locks to the single wedge locks, (Feb, 1952 per Skip Campbell). :)

Keep both, for all the reasons stated. I'm looking for a third on so I can leave the table mounted and true while mounting the dedicated 10ER lathe at a more convenient height for turning which is too high for saw, sander, & horizontal drill. My 10E is dedicated drill press.

Yes so i have decided just to keep both the only reason i bought the second one was for the jointer that it had and for the price i couldn't say no.
